ETHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS
What is going on?
An ethological analysis evaluates the mental and physical state of the animals and how they relate to other individuals in the group. It is also a useful tool during socialization process of individuals, since it allows to evaluate through scientific studies the effect that changes in the installation could have in the animals.
This type of analysis should precede any change in daily, social or installation routines.
ANIMAL WELFARE ANALYSIS
Why is it happening?
After an ethological analysis of animal state, one wonders why they show like that. The animal welfare analysis relates the different variables, both individual and group, with others related with the environment, temporality or enclosures design that may be affecting the behaviours of the animals. In this way, we can generate a report about the welfare status of the animal and the positive or negative causes that can be affecting it together with our solutions or improvements.
